    The DISD Board approved pre-K charter partnerships in February of this year. However, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) is requiring amendments to the contracts, and these amendments require Board approval. It looked as though these contracts would be amended without discussion since at least two trustees must request to have an item pulled from the consent agenda for a separate discussion and vote.     PUBLIC EDUCATION IS UNDER ATTACK and we need not look all the way to the state or national levels of education policy to see this.
